Synaesthetic
Theatre presents
The Trial of K
Come and witness The Trial of K, a live multimedia dream play based on Kafka's masterpiece,
which blends physical theatre, dance, live streaming surveillance video and original music with German Expressionism
and classic Film Noir. Unable to defend himself against the unspecified charges of an unforgiving Court of Law, Josef
K’s confidence is eroded through interactions with a surreal parade of characters – men and women drawn by the scent
of his “guilt”.
Meet the creators of The Trial of K at the OPENING NIGHT PERFORMANCE & AFTER PARTY on Wednesday,
March 30. This special performance (tickets $30) includes a post-show wine & cheese reception with the cast & crew of
the production! Come and mingle with members of Synaesthetic Theater as we celebrate the opening of our newest multimedia
creation!
Tickets are selling fast, so don’t delay… Visit www.thetrialofk.com and purchase

Synaesthetic
Theatre is a collective of artists dedicated to creating process oriented, multimedia theatre, synthesizing voice,
text, movement, music, video, and visual art into a single performance experience. As a community of creators, our collective
provides a home in which artists from all realms are supported and encouraged to take risks, exploring their craft as
tools for communication. Directors, designers and performers collaborate in a unique process to develop each show, resulting
in truly ensemble-driven work. Synaesthetic Theatre utilizes live
experimental performance to inspire an environment where intellect and emotion function together -- redefining the boundaries
of theater, artist and audience, and encouraging conscious investigation and evaluation of the world around us.
